Can I contract HIV from HCG obtained from infected pregnant woman

recently started using HCG hormone injections for weight loss. Now I regret it because after almost finishing my first 5000 IU's of the hormone, it occurred to me that because HCG is derived from a pregnant woman's placenta, is it possible that it can carry virul infections like hiv?herpes?etc.

I have been panicking ever since i realized this and how can i be so stupid not to research this before ordering HCG vials from online. (peptidewarehouse.com....even though they say that "Our peptides and products are of the utmost purity. Regulations of ICH Q7A and current Good Manufacturing Practice have been implemented for our products. Every product batch is tested for purity and quality to meet clinical grade requirements."...the vial that i got didn't state the manufacturer's name or any other info. It did contain hcg because i tested on a pregnancy test and it came positive)

Please can you address this question and tell whether it is possible to contract viral infections like hiv/herpes from hcg hormone derived from an infected pregnant woman?

Hello SubtleBee, and thank you once again Vance,

You've neatly illustrated the hazards of ordering medications on line. You don't know what it is, where it came from, how it was manufactured, whether it is genuine or whether it contains any other substances or impurities.

I don't know the answers to those questiins either.

I can tell you that correctly stored, managed, prescribed HCG is safe. I can'ttell you about the product you have used.

You will, if you remain worried, have to test for the various possibilities which you have already outlined at the relevant time interval.

We will always try to answer all questions within a 48 hour time frame - as per the Forum guidelines. You've been using this stuff for a long time so I'm not convinced there's a sudden emergency.

Have you been daft? Yes.

Best regards, Sean

Because the Dr's do not spend 24/7 here. They work at Freedom Health and can get busy where they don't have the time to respond daily. You need to be patient.

additional info:

The HCG vial comes with a small tablet (White colored) and is dissolved by adding Bacteriostatic water to it which is then injected using sterile insulin syringes. I am not worried about syringes being contaminated because I bought all new syringes from a local pharmacy. Im paranoid about the HCG because the website I bought it from doesn't state much info about how its manufactured and where it comes from. Im afraid it comes from over seas and that makes it more likely that it wasn't fully tested whether the women they obtain it from is screened of any STDs.
