Canker Sore, burning, Hard to breath through Mouth

Hello doctor, please help me put my mind to rest. I had unprotected sex with an 18 year old early March. A few weeks ago until today ive been experiencing a dry tongue and mouth. I have a feeling that is anxiety bc when im at school i salivate like crazy. My main concern is the canker sore on the side of my tongue and the feeling like boogers are in my throat and there are none (causing it a slight difficulty to breath through the mouth). its white like a bump (small). Im scared this may be thrush. I went to a doctor a week ago and i showed him my dry white tongue towards the end and he said its normal and is not by any chance thrush. the sore came later. And i have been having a burning feeling on the tip of my tongue which feels like it travels throughout the middle of the tongue. it looks inflamed (tip) and i see dark red dots where it burns. please. its been almost 6 months and this happens now. i dont wanna have hiv. i just hit 21 and i am terrified completely.

sorry to ask but are you going to answer my question. the only thing im worried about is the burning tip for 3-4 weeks. i worried about a yeast infection. which is a good sign of hiv

sorry for asking you but doctor what do you mean from the point of view of hiv, "you would never unnecessarily about it?" tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea and hsv1-2. thank you so much. I found another post that had similar symptoms as me. burning tongue for half a month means yeast infection. yeast infection means thrush. thrush means good sign of hiv. no diabetes or anything like that when i got tested. but if it has almost been 6 months and this occured a few weeks ago would this of occured earlier??? im young if that plays a factor. please reply to me as soon as you can. this will put my mind to rest =)

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our HIV forum.
Having unprotected intercourse does indeed involve a risk of contracting STIs.  And such I can only recommend you having a general STD screening.  However none of your symptoms would be considered to be related to HIV or any other sexually transmitted infection.  From the point of view of HIV, you would never unnecessarily about it.  I am very confident that you do not have HIV.  However I would urge you to follow my advice and be tested as you might have contracted an STI that can be easily treated.
Best wishes,
Dr José
