Need advise/reassurance

Stupid move but on the 17th of September i has unprotected sex with a dancer at a night club during a lap dance.  about 20 days later I started showing symptoms of fatigue(still) and body ache(for 2 days), no cough or rash that i can see and no high fever.  At 25 days i got tested wioth a blood prick rapid test and 15 min later it came back negitive.
1 are the symptoms mental
2 what are my chances that i may have picked up something
3 are their any other tests i should do?
plan on doing another test at 35 days... just freaking out here.
Thanks in advance

Hello

Sorry to hear about the pickle you are in but actually I think you will be fine and HIV negative.

The overwhelming chance is that the lady you had sex with is most likely HIV negative.

In response to your questions:-

1 are the symptoms mental

I'd say that there is a good chance that many of these are stress related.

2 what are my chances that i may have picked up something

The chances of picking up "something" are relatively high - so you should test for a full range of STD's including syphilis at 28 days, chlamydia and gonorrhoea at 7 days or so using NAAT testing; NSU at around 7 days - and obviously you are concerned re HIV which is probably the least likley so test for that at 28 days using a fourth generation HIV 1 and 2 antibdoy / antigen p24 test.

3 are their any other tests i should do?
plan on doing another test at 35 days... just freaking out here

as above

best f luck but as I say, I think you'll be fine re HIV.
