Would appreciate your response to my earlier post?
I had my HIV Duo again at 7 weeks & HIV combo at 11 weeks, both were negative. I had these repetitive test as was unwell/flu which led to anxiety & fear of infection.
Can i treat these results conclusive or have to reconsider testing at 3 months?
No concern at all.
A condom slip on withdrawal would not be considered of any significant risk of HIV infection; adding to that a negative Duo after 3 weeks.

Dr José
Awaiting your reply to the earlier post on 07 Jul.
I have mentioned my 2 exposures on this same Forum on 17 th June 2010.........2 exposures which i have mentioned, one on HIV & other STD forum (answered by HHH). The 1 st one was related open sore on testicle which was noticed by me post the protected sex & unprotected oral. I am at 7 week on that exposure. 2 nd exposure was related to condom slip on withdrawal which was 4 weeks ago. Both these questions were answered respectively.......
The above question on 17 th June was also responded by you.
Considering the exposures mentioned as above on 17 th June 2010 & the symptoms mentioned in the post today, would that sound of any concern ?
I am repeating my concerns assuming that you answered the todays post not considering the earlier post on 17 th June, last month
Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our HIV forum.
Rather than concentrating on non-specific symptoms and test results, it is more important to evaluate the possible risk of HIV infection or other STIs. Why do you think that your sexual encounter was a risky one? Was there anal penetration involved? Was it only oral? As your symptoms could be related to other common STIs.
Your second HIV Duo test at 5 weeks can be considered conclusive; hence your symptoms have absolutely nothing to do with HIV.
I ffel that the doctor who saw you is most likely right with the explanations given.
Best wishes,
Dr José
