Hello
Part of the reason for your posts not being answered very quickly is the fact that you repeatedly posted - spammed - with additional questions. If you do that then we lose sight of the original question and there will be a delay.
You asked:-
1- According to the above episode what are my chances contracting HIV? given that I have no bleeding in my mouth nor I noticed any open sores or chancers on the ladyboy penis nor he ejaculated in my mouth.
I don't believe this represents a risk for you. Oral with ejaculation into your mouth may pose a threat but it is extremely unlikely.
2- I have heard that saliva in mouth and throat may neutralize the virus, how far is this effective?
You have heard correctly - this does seem to be the case. There are cases where someone sucking another who may be HIV positive may then become infected but these are very rare scenarios
3- Is 19 days a good time frame to test to other STDs as Syphilis/Chalmedya/Gonorrohea?
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea yes; syphilis no - you will need to wait for 28 days from the episode.
4- Do I need to test for HIV according to the above exposure or just the STDs mentioned in point (3)
Given that you are about to get married I would test for all the common STD's including HIV - even though I believe the risk on the basis of what you have said, to be small.
I hope taht is helpful.
best wishes, Sean
Sorry forgot to mention that the ladyboy was from Brazil and uncircumciesed...
Do you think PEP is needed for the above episode?
Anyone Drs o answer my question please??
Doctors, why there is no one answering my question??!!! other posts older than mine and are being answered??!!! please advise....
The Dr's are very busy and answer when they can. Of course older posts would be answered before yours...1st come 1st serve. Be patient and a Dr will answer you.
1.Also if you read what the Dr's on this site say...there is no real risk for HIV from oral sex. You may read it on other sites but here it is no risk based on several studies.
2. Saliva does have enzymes and proteins that deactivae the virus.
3. Chlamydia and gonorrhea yes...throat swab. Syphilis-6 weeks
4. In terms of risk...probably not. But everyone should test for HIV and STD's every 6 months to 1 year depending on sexual partners. Might be a good time to test just to make sure.
But again the Dr's will answer, just hope mine can give you some releif until the Dr's have the time to get back here.
Thanks a lot for your answers but still waiting the Drs answers...
