Sudden Onset Sever Muscle pains followed by high fever for two days

Risk Factor:  Protected  vaginal sex with sex worker 42 days prior to onset of symptoms (~15 minutes).  Checked condom for leaks by running water at facet, none found.  Menstrual blood on outside of condom.    Also, did Cocaine with her with rolled up dollar bill.

42 days after incident, took nap in the middle of Sat. afternoon, then woke up with extreme body aches all over body.   No fever at moment.  Felt like I was run over by a train.   Woke up in the middle of the night with high fever >103.  Muscle aches were worse Sun through Monday morning with constant high fever.  Monday 9am went to doctor, rapid test for flu - negative.  He advised strep or bacterial infection, then proceeded and gave me a shot of antibiotics and advised I lay in tub with warm water to alleviate muscle pains.  took nap around noon, woke up at 5pm muscle pains and fever started subsiding.   Called doctor to thank him.   By Tuesday, was feeling much better with slight sore throat that started Monday, not Sunday. (Fever and Muscle Aches gone).   Wednesday was back to normal.  

Recap.   Fever & Muscles Pain 2 days, slight sore through on 3rd day.  

Questions
1) What is my risk factor?
2) 6 Weeks for start of symptoms common?
3) Short duration of symptoms can be ARS?
4) It seems antibiotics started taking effect with 10 hours, however could that be a coincident?
5) My only concern about the strep diagnosis is that sore throat came on end of second day, can strep start without sore throat and slight sore throat be possibly to antibiotics already taking effect.  

Notes:   These were the most several muscle pains in my live with super high fever shakes and chill.    No Rash or other symptoms.

You didn't have a risk. Very sensibly you used a condom which remained intact. Even if she was HIV positive then you did not expose yourself - no risk.

Possible but not common. But to repeat, you did not have a risk.

3) Short duration of symptoms can be ARS?

Could be - but actually the symptoms terminated after treatment with antibiotic confirming your doctor's diagnosis.

No, the doctor gave you an injection. Injections work quickly.

so my questions are:_Can you spread, what you think are HIV symptoms on tovsomeone else? Can you have be HIV infected, and have a bacterial infection? Could this be strep throat? How long does it take for all HIV symptoms to go away including swollen lymph nodes?

Also i talked to a nurse and she told me that since i spreaded it, and still have a swollen lymph node in my neck, since since my strep, it can not be HIV, some type of bacterial infection or strep throat. I am still going to go get testes in likea week, but i just want to know if what she, told me is true? Can you spread, just hiv symptoms to somenone else? Because from what i heard so far is that it is just strep throat or a bacterial infection that i have and i just need some biotics. I am very anxious to know opinions before i go get checked.

i had unprotected sex like a month and a half ago.about 3 weeks later i got a fever and started to feel sometrhing like a sore throat coming on but not quit a sore throat. The day after i had something, where it hurt really bad to swallow,and it felt weird to turn my head and nod it.it went away in like 3 days, but like a day afterwards and so on, i started noticing that people around me were starting to get the exsact same thing that i had. The only thing that i had that they did not were that i had swollon lymph nodes, on both sides of my neck, but the one on my right side, was a lot more larger. After i found out that this could be a sign of HIV i went into major depression, and symptoms of high blood pressure, started to show. Like 2 weeks later,i felt fine, but i also noticed that i had lost weight. It also somtimes felt like something was running threw my body,such as in places like my bottom an my genetils.I feel odd every now and then,but still have been able to feel one swollen lymph node in my neck.

Just some additions.

This was back in early April.  Last week had complete physical.  CBC, Chest x-rays.  Everything came back perfect. Just a little high on Cholesterol and towards the bottom range on vitamin D, but still within range.  .I am also a 36 straight male, never anal sex with man or woman.
