Fingering and Eating

Dear Dr

Please guide me on the risks I face on the incident mentioned below...
Three days ago, I kissed a girl for an hour and fingered her for 15 minutes. Then I went straight for a bath and used the same hand I had used for fingering to turn on the shower. I took shower, washed my hands about 5 times thoroughly and then used the same hand to turn off the shower. Then I went out for a couplr of hours, came back, washed my hands again using the same taps (touched them again) and ate a burger using my hands. What are my chances of getting a STD. Please guide me as I am extremely worried.

Hi again,

No, there is absolutely no risk or chance of you developing an STD or any description through fingering and then touching a shower tap.

My own shower cascades water over the taps and the mixer tap warms quite significantly. I am sure this will 1) wash any diseases off 2) heat and dry any diseases present.

As before, I really don't believe there was any sort of risk anyway.

best wishes, Sean

Hello,

There is no risk here at all of anything sexually transmitted. Kissing someone for an hour may give you sore lips and being fingered for 15 minutes sounds a bit uncomfortable, but aside from that, I don't think there are any concerns here at all.

Sexual activity isn't supposed to be a surgical activity.

Relax and forget it. You're fine.

best rgeards, Sean

Thanks a ton doctor.
Just one last question for future purposes, if I finger a girl and then use the same fingers to handle a tap, wouldn't that put me in some risk since I would touch the tap again after cleaning my hands to close it and I may have transferred the virus when I touched it the first time after fingering. And how much gap can I give after which I can use my hands to eat?

Thankyou again in advance for the help and guidance. Really grateful.
