I am really worried about HIV exposure

I met this woman a while back and about 2 months into dating, we had protected vaginal sex. However, before that, she gave me unprotected oral for like a month before that (ejaculation in mouth everytime about 8 occurances). Also, plenty of deep open mouth kissing with tongue.

She calls me and tell me that she recently found out she was HIV positive. I had 2 HIV test done prior to meeting her, and both were negative. What I mean is that I had sex 6 months ago with a differnt woman and after 4 months, I got tested and they were both negative. I was not sexually active again until i met this woman.

I have had no noticalbe symptoms except of feeling a little tired and a little tenderness in my right groin area. I am definitely going to get tested next week, but can you tell me what is my chance of exposure?

@caneschamp... even i m worried since i received unprotected oral sex frm sex worker and protected vaginal sex but to let you know two things as far as i have learnt frm this site:-

1. HIV antibody test checks for antibodies tht body creates against virus and not the hiv virus.
2. Oral swab takes input for detecting antibodies not hiv virus .

I hope u got the answer..

But the question is if you are also worried, get tested at 90 days which i m also waiting to take..

You say, and other people say, that HIV cannot be spread through kissing and receiving oral, yet, there is an FDA approved test now that does a mouth swab to detect HIV. How is it that this mouth swab, which collect mouth fluid contains the HIV virus, yet you (and other people) says it can't be spread by the mouth?

If the virus is present in those fluids, and can be detected by a test, then it should be able to be spread that way, right?  Help me understand.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and apologies for the delayed reply.
Receiving oral sex (unprotected) and kissing would not pose any risk of HIV infection, even if the lady was HIV positive.  Therefore I do not beleive that you need to be concerned as you always practised protected vagianl penetration.  Your symptoms are not related to HIV sero-conversion.
I would recommedn that you get tested at the appropriate time for your peace of mind.
Best wishes,
Dr José

no, didn't have anything like that. Just the rash. I did have sort of a sour stomach (like heartburn) for a couple of days, but i have had that in the past, so im nor relating that to this situation.

I am going to wait on testing to get out of that "window" period.

Just concerned that she did test positive after she told me she thought she was disease free.
