Thank you very much :)
Best wishes to you as well!!
Hello again,
As follows I will try to answer all your questions:
1: can I have symphtomes within 2-3 days after the possible exposure? - I saw some brown spots on my shoulder,- on the same day I had sex- which disappeared in a few days, and I had night sweats for almost a month long..i got a full blood sample and urine analysis,it did not show anything...the doctor examined my liver, it was okay.
NOT AT ALL. ACUTE SERO-CONVERSION SYMPTOMS NEVER OCCUR BEFORE TWO WEEKS FOLLOWING EXPOSURE AND DO NOT LAST LONGER THAN 7-10 DAYS. THOSE BROWN SPOTS WOULD BE IRRELEVANT AND THE NIGHT SWEATS POSSIBLY COINCIDENTAL, BUT NOTHING TO DO WITH HIV.
2: after this my night sweats were kind of disappearing, but in the 6th week at nights I had pain in my stomach, first in the stomach, then in every part in my belly, so hard that I couldn't sleep, my period came even sooner, and took longer than usually, and the night sweats came up again, strong again. The pain, the fever went by after a week. Does stomach, or liver disease have to do anything with ARS? I still feel my liver hurts sometimes, but regarding that I drunk alcohol it is no surprise I guess...
NO, STOMAC OR LIVER PAINS ARE RELATED TO ARS. IT SOUNDS MORE LIKELY TO BE THE ALCOHOL, POSSIBLY COMPOUNDED WITH ALL THE STRESS.
3: why do people need to wait one week after got tested, if there is an opportunity to get the results on the same day? Are both equally trusty?
I THINK THAT OBVIOUSLY DEPENDS ON THE CLINIC YOU GO TO AND WHERE THEY PROCESS THEIR SAMPLES. WE ALWAYS GIVE THE RESULTS OF THE HIV DUO AFTER 4 HOURS ON THE SAME DAY. I WOULD IMAGINE THAT IF THEY ARE THE SAME TEST, THEY WOULD EQUALLY RELIABLE REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE RESULT.
Best wishes,
Dr Jose
