HIV Finally Has a Cure?? pls see this and explain?

Jonathan Mermin, director of the U.S. National Center for HIV/AIDS in Atlanta, Georgia, states the results point out that the shot is also effective in averting infections after exposure through the vagina.

What does it have to do with HIV Prevention? Do you know how many times I've heard in the last 30 years "the cure/" It gets to be offensive and even more offensive coming from someone that doesn't know anything about HIV.
