12 week and 24 week test

Hello, I have found great support in your forum, but just like others, I cannot seem to rest my brain.  Here is my scenario: I had unprotected sex with a girl I met at a bar on November 11, 2007.  A week later, I had sex with a girl I am still dating.  She came down with all sorts of ARS like symptoms (sore throat hours later, cold next day, rash two days after).  Another month went by and she got sick again with swollen lymph nodes.  The entire time after we had sex, for months, she had a dry cough.  After a month and a half, she was fine.  I never got sick, but was so worried that I went to my doctor 12 weeks after my random encounter and got tested for all STDs, including HIV, all came back negative.  I then tested for HIV at 24 weeks and it was negative.  I have convinced myself that I gave her HIV, even though I tested negative out to 24 weeks.  Can I just put this behind me?  It seems like the first round of symptoms appeared so soon that they could not be HIV, but I cant seem to forget it. Thank you.

Your looking for answers in the wrong place let me spell it out for you
1) You have a 24 week negative and you dont except it
2) You must be the one in 20 million who will test postive (right) WRONG
3) Take your computer and trash it
4) The internet is a scary place
5) Enjoy life and MOVE ON
      THE END

How on earth can you give someone something you don't have? Your 12 week test was conclusive and you took another test at 24 weeks which was negative. We can't help you with your problems. All we can tell you is that you don't have HIV.

Thanks, I needed that!  I am not worried about me though, I am somehow convinced that I passed the virus onto her and didnt "develop" it myself.
I know this is irrational, but I do love her and I am a natural worrier.
Thanks for the kick in the butt.
My computer is too new, i will not trash it. However, I promise to stop "surfing"
Thanks for the piece of mind, think I just needed to vent.
Peace.
