In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
Thank you very much for your answer , I can't understand the last part of your post :
" Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results " I have had a very high risk exposure one for sure with a hiv+ boy ... Did you mean 3 months + 3 months ? My last neg. test was performed 100 days after my last exposure. My lynphnodes are not swollen but I feel some pain like a "little fire" ( this simptom last for 2 and half moths and still persist ). In total I had 6 HIV ab/ag p24 tests in 100 days.
Do you really think I should be fine ?
Thank you.
