Did I catch hiv through insertive oral sex after all?

Hi,

I am an heterosexual male and living in a monogamous relationship with a female since many years. However, 15 days ago I received an unprotected blowjob from a man. It was in a dark environment so it hard to estimate if he had any mouth ulcers or things like that. There were no blood on my penis afterwards that I could see.

Three days after I started having symptoms: frequent urination, burning sensation in genital area and I haven't had any erections since the incident (usually I have morning wood and am sexually aroused sometime during the day).

After 13 days I developed a small white "pimple" on my lip. I accidentally cut it while shaving. Now it's a hard small lump.

Yesterday I suddenly started bleeding inside my cheek. I don't think I bit myself. That area is red.

I tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia through a urine test after 6 days. I took another one after 12 days and am currently waiting for the results.

The last weeks has been pure stress and anxiety which of course could aggrevate the symptoms.

Since mouth sores is an early sign of hiv - could it be that I caught it through insertive oral sex after all?

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

That has not changed, and will not change.  NO ONE has ever contracted HIV from receiving oral sex, and you won't be the first.   Mouth ulcers are not exclusive to HIV, and in your case, they are definitely not related to HIV since you had zero risk.
