8 weeks hiv negative result but still having symptoms

Dear Dr.

I am a straight man who had his first sexual intercourse in life before 9 weeks. during the intercourse, my condom got little loose due to weak erection and the lady replaced it immediately without me cleaning my penis. after one week of exposure, I started getting night sweats that lasted for 6 weeks continuously, also my back skin felt like burning for few days. moreover, I lost 7 kgs in one month. also, i had a hard pain in muscles and joints that are still there till now. also, i still feel fatigue. and my tongue is so white since 8 weeks. I did two HIV tests after 8 weeks of exposure, one was a rapid test and the other in a laboratory. both gave negative results. now its 9 weeks after exposure and I am still having muscle/joint pains, fatigue, and white tongue. Is my 8 weeks test conclusive though I had all these symptoms (especially night sweets and rapid weight loss)? or should I retest at 3 months? can HIV symptoms stay until 9 weeks after exposure? weight loss and white tongue are symptoms of late HIV stage (AIDS) so why I am having them now.

I truly appreciate your kind support.

I will not play the "what if game" with you. The condom did NOT come off during sex and therefore you had absolutely no risk for HIV. If you had "micro cuts" on your penis, your penis was still covered and therefore, still protected. NO RISK

Anxiety can definitely cause many symptoms as well as  exacerbate minor ones. But any symptom that lasts more than a week or gets worse needs to be evaluated by a doctor.

Prolonged anxiety and stress can also definitely weaken the immune system as well as cause many other health problems.

If you feel you have a problem with anxiety, please speak with your doctor about it. There are many good options to treat it.

Thanks for your answer
I was much stronger and healthier before this sexual encounter. What happened to me? Any other std may cause such symptoms ?
Night sweats and weight loss can easily occur if you are worried and think you might be dying, which is what you have been doing. I have read hundreds of people's posts about their white tongue here but none of them had HIV like they thought, so it is best not to try to self-diagnose from your tongue and instead see your doctor if concerned like RubyWitch said.

Since the condom did not come completely off your penis, you never had a risk. As long as the head of your penis was covered, there was no point of entry for any possible infection.
You can take your negative test results as conclusive as, once again, you never had a risk and do not have HIV.
You do not require any further testing.
If your symptoms are still bothering you, please see your doctor. They are not HIV related. I am not a doctor, but would guess they are anxiety driven. (Possibly from spending too much time Googling symptoms?) I wish you the best.

Thanks for your answer. Do you think if the skin of my penis had micro cuts due to rubbing then there might be a chance to get infected by hiv through skin? Can anxiety really cause all these symptoms (night sweets, rapid weight loss and white tongue)?
Can anxiety and stress weaken the immune system.
Thanks allot
