8 weeks post exposure, white/redness behind teeth

So I had a scare 8 weeks ago now.....I'm a 24 year old, healthy, white male and I had A sexual encounter that I don't remember, with an older black female whom I don't know, in which I wasn't sure if I wore a condom or not. I don't recall any of the sexual act.  Just thinking back on the situation makes me scared and sick to my stomach.

Around 2 weeks after I had swollen lymph nodes, and what I thought may have been an ARS rash....But I'm not sure.

ALSO, since the exposure I've what a white glossy coat on the back of my teeth, on the gums, where the molars are located.  It was originally simply white, but now there are some some red spots too, as if I cut the area, but I most definitely have not. This has me very worried and scared that I in fact have ARS.

I'm horrified and convinced that I'm still displaying ARS symptoms or that mine are hitting later than normal.

Does anyone know about the whiteness that one gets in the back of the mouth with HIV/ARS?

Oh, I should also mention that 2 weeks after the encounter I developed geographic tongue, which has also lasted more less over the past few weeks....but which was much more prominent and like the ARS stuff I saw on the internet right in the normal time frame of ARS., and is only now started to look a little better.

Please help me.

I'm horrified and it is hard for me to live my life.

Good Lord.  Teak is right...you are making some outlandish and offensive statements.

Your option is to test like you were advised above.

And, if you got THAT drunk (or impaired) that you can't remember any sexual acts, then you need to seek addiction help as well.  That's a fine way to get yourself into a dangerous situation.

Alcohol and sex are a BAD mix.

I agree with you, I will get the test at 3 months and that will be that....

But I need something to hold onto until then...I'm going crazy. And I firmly belive that I'm displaying "symptoms," however vague they may be.

I think I got that someone with HIV would be bald because wouldn't they lose hair? Or perhaps I'm thinking of when it progresses to AIDS. Isn't this correct?

Were did you come up that someone with HIV would be bald? Now reread what I told you in the previous thread and the sooner you do it the better.

Why is that so outlandish of a statement by me?  I asked the woman right after the incident, and she said she was perfectly healthy.  I called 2 times during the following 2 weeks begging her to go get tested in front of me, and that I would pay, etc. etc....She refused and told me to never contact her again.

Now, I see this woman walking down the street and her head is shaved...maybe she finally got tested after my insistence....and maybe this is why she had to shave her head. Is that so wrong for me to think?   It makes sense and it is freaking me out beyond belief. So much so that I can hardly get any work or studying done...in fact, I can't get anything done.

What do you think about me seeing this woman with her head now currently shaved?! Why would she do this.  Isn't this a HUGE sign that she likely has AIDS?

ARS is not diagnosed till AFTER one tests positive.

but, isn't what I am experiencing what is typically ARS? Especially the whitness.......

Also, I just saw the woman walking around the street on which I work...It scared me to death. I don't know this person, but remember what she looks like enough from the night. It was scary because her head was shaved....so I'm convinced she was HIV.... I hope I am wrong. She had a shaved head and was smoking. ahhhh

Please Help.

but Teak, am I wrong in thinking that this is ARS related? That is all I'm asking. I've read numerous places that ARS and HIV cause whitness in this area. And that is what I've had. But I've also read that ARS symptoms don't last longer then a few weeks, and I've had this for almost 4-5 weeks, so I'm confused. I know I need to be tested and I will be, but I just need some answers here about what is going on with me and if it is similar to ARS/HIV.....Please, please help.

NO, you can't be diagnosed over the Internet. If you have a concern about your mouth see your doctor or dentist.

Yes I know I need to test and I appreciate the answers and knowledge, but can anyone shed light on the whitness behind the molars and the now red spots? Isn't this too late for ARS? Or am I wrong.

The guidance is that there is a small chance of change between 8 weeks-12 weeks (in practice this is very unlikely) but you do need to test again at 12 weeks to comply with guidance.

You cant diagnose hiv by merely symptoms; now is a good time to take hiv test at 8 weeks after exposure will give you a good indication of the 12 weeks results, as the majority (95%) of people test positive by 6 weeks, so your 8 weeks test will be the same as your 12 weeks test.

Disregard any symptoms you are having-HIV cannot be diagnosed through symtpoms and the virus is notorious for producing symptoms that could be caused by a host of other illnesses, as well as just simple anxiety.

What you do need to do is test. Take a test now and it will provide an extremly conclusive and virtually totally accurate indication of your HIV status. However you then need to test at three months to obtain a 100% conclusive test result. Good luck.
