9 week negative, troublesome symptoms

I hope to get some feedback on my situation. my exposure was a one time contact at a massage parlor. I received unprotected oral sex for a few minutes after the condom fell off, immediately after I sprayed my private with alcohol in fear of any STD's. I did touch her vagina for a few seconds and also immediately after, sprayed my hands with with alcohol. I tested for all STD's at 8 weeks post exposure and ELISA HIV all negative..i then tested at 9 weeks using oraquick 2x and negative twice. Symptoms started with severe fatigue about 5 weeks post exposure(lasts 4 days) then dry cough, pain in lymph nodes( chest, armpits, under chin , and salivary glands), sore throat last 4 weeks, small rash on shin then a few weeks later a small rash on arm. now 12 weeks post exposure and still have painful lymph nodes, dry cough, sore throat. went to Doctor and he ran all tests and came back normal except low absolute lymphocytes. Seems like my body is trying to fight something. my question is, can I take my 8 and 9 week negative as not having contracted HIV?,, I am going to retest at 13 weeks though with p24 antigen, full panel STD. I am freaking out about these symptoms since I never had anything like this before..did my one time exposure lead to being infected..thanks for your response and all the best.

Went for my conclusive test today at 14.5 weeks post exposure. 4th generation hiv and rna tests. Was extremely nervous even to go and get the tests done as you have read that I have had many symptoms along the way. Wish me luck...

Hi There,

Your symptoms are none-specific and do not diagnose HIV.

If you are going to take a 4th Gen Duo test you can do so now safe in the knowledge that any time after 28 days, it is Conclusive.

Also, and more importantly, in terms of your risk, Oral Sex does not carry one so testing is not required although it is good practice to get into if you are sexually active.

You would not have caught HIV from the above so you can safely relax now.

Best Wishes,
