A little scared need an answer

Hi everyone I new to this website my name is Katie I'm 16 years old I live in New York, I'm a little freaked out from today experience me and my friend were walking home from school and we were talking and then all of sudden I stepped on a needle I freaked I don't know if it pinch me I was so nervous..I know unprotected sex is a risk for HIV..but I dunno if this is a risk for HIV if the needle poked me im freaking out can someone advise me if I should test for hiv thanks ...I'm only 16 I have a whole life in front of me I don't wanna be infected by this!

No risk, it is not the same as IV drug use.

1-if it would have stick me would it have been a risk if someone used right after I stepped on it?

2-so I don't need to test?

I'm 16 old female just need a little advice that's all
