AB vs AG\AB

Dear All,
i was wondering about the difference between hiv tests, is there is any difference between AB test & AG\AB test.
i was wondering because i had two tests which was ( ab ) tests , BUT my gf had more than 6 tests all ( AG\AB ) tests.

does it make any difference between both tests. which is better & what is the time frame for both..

All tests are conclusive 3 months post exposure.

as far as i know, only diference is the window period, for agab about 28 days and for ab 12 weeks, but both conclusive in 12 weeks, that means that even if you have agab done before 12 weeks you must retest it with ab test at or after 12 weeks for conclusive answer.
