ARS Rashes?

Hi all,

A week ago, I went to a massage parlour in Bali (High HIV rate) and had protected oral and vaginal sex with the masseuse there. I am not 100% sure if the condom did not break as the masseuse removed the condom for me. 7 days later, I develop rashes on my back, as well as on my elbows (both sides). They looked like mosquitoes bites or other insect bites also, but I am not sure as well. Just wanted to ask, 7 days for ARS symptoms to show up is a bit too soon is it?

Thanks a lot of any help. Deeply appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Ftworthstress76137. I was just not sure if the condom broke, hence the question. Thanks again!

You had no risk. You had protected sex, so ARS is irrelevant. If you did have ARS you would have a rash plus a fever, etc.

Hi jamesD1991, thanks for the prompt reply, I am just not sure if the condom broke thats why I asked about the ARS symptoms.

So am I right to say ARS symptoms usually occur 2 to 4 weeks after exposure?and 1 wk is too early for ARS symptoms to occur? Thanks!

You never had a risk so whatever you're feeling isn't ARS
