Well thank you... that's reassuring
Forget about your symptoms. There are just too many far more common viruses out there that can produce the exact same symptoms.
When your body is exposed to a virus, the innate immune defenses are very non-specific. For example, cells in the body produce interferon in response to a variety of completely unrelated viral infections (not just retroviruses like HIV), which results in fever and general malaise.
And it sounds like your symptoms were too brief anyway to resemble ARS. There is really no reason to think that you had anything other than a community-acquired sore throat.
Well just a follow up question I don't understand how some people can have absolutely no symptoms and then I can have some of these symptoms for a few days... Is it not possible that i might have contracted it and it went away quickly. I mean it was 13 days after exposure with a 101 temp, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, headache and an ear ache... I don't mean to labor on it and I know I need to get tested but 3 months is a long time to wait without a piece of mind. Thanks!
Thanks Lizzie you have really been a great help on this site and helped me mentally get through this.... Keep up the good work!
