ARS after 3 months

Dear Dr,
I got tested at 12 weeks of a protected encounter (unaware of the nature of the condom).. It showed negative in rapid card hiv 1 & 2 test.. Then ECLIA&CLIA duo test at 14 weeks also showed negative.. Is this conclusive? Do ars occur after 12 weeks? Kindly reply.. I am anxious..

Your negative results prove that hiv is not the issue here.

Keep calm

You never had an exposure and never needed testing.

Hello BeStrong,
Sorry for bothering you again.. Firstly, I am curious to know whether hot flashes are specific to HIV.. I had hot flash after 3 weeks (one night) and 80 days (one night) after exposure.. In some websites it is mentioned that hot flash is a symptom of hiv infection.. Secondly, will cold interfere with the test results.. Kindly clarify.. Thanking you..

Please try to be calm. You've had a NON RISK encounter and a NEGATIVE test result. Time to move on now!!
