Is it true that fever is the most common symptom of ars? My only symptom has been a sore throat for 4.5 weeks. I had protected sex about 6 weeks ago with a partner of unknown status
coincidental for sure. There is no way to acquire HIV from protected sex......what websites are you looking at that indicate the contrary? Just curious....... stay off the web there is a ton of misinformation out there. Good luck I wish you all the best.
it just seems pretty coincidental that i have this sore throat when i should have ars and its not going away. I tested neg for mono, strep, thrush.
having condom protected sex is ONLY a risk IF the condom FAILS.

Lizzie is right. You are not at risk if you had protected sex and your protection did not fail during the intercourse. The risk may be "theoritical" what the "other websites" state, but practically it does not exist if you have used your protection correctly.
