ARS and minor diarrhea

HI,

It has been six weeks and i am going in tomorrow to get tested. But the anxiety is kicking in and im starting to freak out. i didnt get any ARS symptoms but i know that isnt really a good indicator, but does anyone know the percentage of people who have been infected develop ARS symptoms? Do you think that having diarrhea once in a while indicate anything about hiv? i have been having diarrhea probably once a week or twice, especially when i consume dairy products. i know i am a little lactose intolerant, but i never seemed to be so sensitive to dairy products. for example yesterday all i had was an iced coffee from mcdonalds, and i had minor diarrhea from that. is my diarrhea completely unrelated?

thanks for all your replies

hi, i had diarrhea again tonight. i am just wondering about diarrhea associated with hiv, does it come and go? since i had it last week on the weekend but for the rest of last week it was normal until this weekend, and only lasts for about a day or 2. and its not like i have to run to the bathroom, it just feels like i have to poo. and is it possible for someone to get diarrhea on the sixth week, since that is where i am at. and for today, i didnt eat or drink anything that has dairy products. sorry for bothering you guys but im just very anxious since im taking the test tomorrow.

Diarrhea isn't a significant enough symptom to suggest that you have HIV.  The fact that you said that you are somewhat lactos intolerant would only further suggest that your diarrhea issues aren't HIV related.  Symptoms alone aren't a sufficient way to determine whether or not you have HIV because these kinds of symtoms can be caused by ANYTHING.  It can even be caused by anxiety and stress, which you have made very clear that you are suffering from.
