ARS rash

Good morning,

1 month ago I might have had an exposure. I was completely drunk and went to a CSW and had :
- protected vaginal sex (using a condom) - don't remember if the condom stayed there and did not break. I was too drunk to ejaculate.
- handjob (no condom)
- she fingered me anally (using a condom on her finger, however not sure if the condom was new - worst case is that she might have used the condom used for vaginal sex).

After 5 days (exactly 120 hours after the potential exposure) I realized a macular rash on my upper back and upper arms -  it did not itch, lesions were slightly red, oval with diameter 1-2 cm. Potentially a symptom of ARS, this rash made me worry, as I realized that I don't really recall what I did there. I took an antihistamine and calcium for a couple of days. The rash began to dissapear after about 4 days (it took 6 days to clear up completely), therefore I am not sure if the antihistamine / calcium made it go away.

2 days after the rash began, I developped:
1) weird feeling in my chest - which made me cought with a dry cough - this lasted only for a couple of hours
2) pain in my neck - I attributed it to some excercises that I did for my back 1 day before (60 minutes of excercises in a clinic involving a lot of movement of my head, hanging my body up with only my shoulders and head touching the ground, etc.). The pain went away after 3 days.

Also, 1 week later I developped some very mild buring sensation around or in my penis - very difficult to determine where it is, also it happens quite rarely, perhaps a few times during the days.

I have no explanation for the rash, cannot think of any cause. Could it be possible that:
1) ARS manifests itself with only a rash?
2) ARS rash occurs so early (120 hours after exposure)?

Please advise.

None of the activities that you describe put you at risk for HIV. HIV is spread sexually through unprotected penetrative vaginal or anal sex. HIV can only be transmitted within the confines of the human body, as in a penis inside a vagina or anus. HIV is not infectious outside the body.

As to your rash, see a doctor if it concerns you. This forum cannot address your symptoms. All we can tell you is that it has nothing to do with HIV.
