Afraid of HIV test strip and needle stab

Hi, I'm from Asia. Last month I bought a hiv test strip from one business website, it took about 12 hours in the transportation, then I received it and took a quick test at home. I used the one-time blood taking needle without disinfect, the one-time blood taking needle has a needle cap (or needle cover? i don’t how to describe it), and the needle is solid (without pinhole), the needle cap and the needle are tight to each other. I have  a question that If this needle is used by one hiv virus carrier (suppose the needle is not one-time, hiv virus carrier use it and then put the needle cap on the needle again…), then the business website sent it to me, after 12 hours transportation, if the hiv virus can be still alive or can infect others if user use the needle to prick finger to crush blood? if the little blood still be fresh or already dry in the gap between the needle and needle cap? BTW, how long time the hiv virus can be alive or can infect others after it left human body? Now I’m afraid of the needle i used…

This event is ZERO RISK for HIV.

As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

Your kit had what is called a lancet - they cannot be re-used, and even if there was blood on it, it would be unable to infect you.  Blood must enter DEEP into the bloodstream to be infectious, and blood outside of the body is instantly unable to infect anyone.

There is nothing you can add to this scenario that would make it a risk for HIV.

Thank you for that valuable information, does the same go for the needles used at a lab? Im sorry a lot of us are new to this, and not sure if there is a difference between iv drug needle and the one the original poster is talking about. Thank you.
Bulls918 Labs and manufacturers don't do  things that could infect people with HIV, so you are worrying about something that doesn't exist. They thought about how to prevent disease transmission long ago.
Thank you for reply.
The lancet is not a spring loaded one, as I said it has a cap (plastic surrounding the lancet before use, and user twist off the 'cap' then can use it). Assuming a hiv carrier use it and cover the cap back immediately to make blood on the lancet has no chance to expose to the air, if the virus still be alive and active after 10 or 12 hours?

No scope of transmission. HIV once separated from it's host, it can no longer transmit effectively.
