After HIV testing

Hi Doctor

I had a HIV test 4 weeks ago. The result was negative. Though the day after the blood test on my right arm which the blood was taken from on the upper part i had little blood spots which looked like inside the skin. I got extremely paranoid maybe the needle infected me with HIV. I know this sounds crazy. few weeks later I got a sore throat which has lasted a few days and i get headaches where my head feels so heavey and I cannot concentrate. Now I am extremely paranoid for some reason the needle gave me HIV. I keep thinking maybe the nurse used an old needle which was infected with HIV. Most people tell me I am just paranoid and crazy but I dont know what to do.

You didn't contract HIV from a blood draw. Seek help from a mental health professional.
