Am I home free?

Hello everyone. I had low risk exposure 4 month ago. I took several tests.

1. HIV COMBO at 6 weeks-negative
2. HIV COMBO at 13 weeks-negative
3. HIV COMBO at 16 weeks- negative

Also I took PCR RNA test at the same time as the last COMBO and I am waiting for my reults. They will be ready at tuesday.

Am I in the clear in your opinion? Thank you.

Vance I am telling the truth. Condom slipped during intercourse and there was also an unprotected oral, bothways but I know this is no risk in your opinion.

If you get a positive test then you either lied about your exposure, had a different exposure or a false positive.

We deal with risk, when you had no risk you had no reason to test. We are not going to brush aside if you had a risk or not.

Regardless of risk, are my tests conclusive? What if my RNA test will comes out positive? I red that RNA test have high rate of false positives. It would be an intresting situation because I already have a negative result from Abbott Combo from same day the RNA was taken. Which from these two types of testing methods is more reliable in your opinion?

Yes I agree what Vance has said,,, sex is protected if the condom covers crown and foreskin (for uncircumcised males) as bare minimum.

Slip of a condom is not even a risk. If the condom had come off where you had unprotected sex then that is a risk. A slip is not.

Rest assured, any test done after 12 weeks is conclusive.

Thank you man. Is there a possibility that my body did not create detectable level of antibodies or antigen during 4 months post exposure? At day 115 I took COMBO test HIV 1/2+antigen 24 which was negative and in conjunction with COMBO I took RNA test. I am now waiting till tuesday comes and I will get my results. Still a bit nervous. If RNA test comes out negative it would be mean that there is no evidence of antibodies, antigen and viral RNA. This will finaly put me to rest, I hope. Or it is any possibility to have all those test negative 4 months+ and still be infected?
