@vance is always spot on with his advice. I was in the same boat as you before but mine was performin oral sex on a female massage therapist no penetrative sex. But anxiety was getting to me. My advice is get tested a duo test should be enough at 4 weeks. I am not saying you are infected but your not so from all the exposures you have said you cannot get hiv. But do it for your peace of mind. And expect a negative result and when you get the result trust it 100percent and stay of the internet.
Should I just get over it and move on with my life and accept that my symptoms are just a coincidence?
I'm really sorry to bother you guys again but my symptoms are really worrying me. Can someone please re-assure me that these symptoms aren't anything to do with my encounters?
Day 11 since exposure: Woke up with night sweats throughout the night.
Day 12: developed a mild sore throat and fatigued, slight muscle aching. Night sweats.
Day 13: mild sore throat, fatigue, muscle aching, night sweats, sneezing and runny nose.
Day 14: runny nose, sneezing and nausea.
Day 15: runny nose and swollen neck lymph node.
Reread what you have been told.
I now feel significantly better thanks to a lot of medication but I have a slight headache. Can ARS symptoms last as short as 36-48 hours?
Now it's almost exactly two weeks since my first exposure. Last night I woke up around 10 times dripping in sweat, my sore throat has gotten worse and I've developed a cough. My arms continue to ache slightly. Other than that I still feel myself and no loss of appetite or anything (yet). Please tell me the symptoms are just a coincidence and bad timing?
Now I'm very worried and questioning whether one of the condoms either slipped off or broke. I woke up multiple times last night with sweats and today I have a very bad sore throat and muscle aches. It's day 13 since the first possible exposure. Would I 100% know if one of the condoms failed/slipped?
Sorry to ask again. Am I ok to continue as above? Thanks.
Thank you. Am I therefore safe to continue unprotected sex with my long term partner?
1. No you do not need any test
2. Yes it is anxiety and guilt. Your risk never existed
3. Negligible
4. Yes you would. Condom failures are catastrophic, too obvious to ignore.
