Anxious about possible hiv infection

Hi
I had unprotected sex with a thai prostiture 40h ago for about 10mn.
The girl worked in a gogo bar and was a registered sex worker.

I am getting very anxious about possible hiv infection because the girl had a cough, kept scrathing her head (she had a white sort of pimple on the top of her scalp) and had several brown marks on her back, legs and arm that i toke for bruise at first but could be a rash? she kept telling me it was an allergy to dust or plastic (well i was drunk so not paying attention)
Now I know i have to wait for the 3 months period for the first HIV test, but is there anything i can do in the meantime like PEP treatment or anything while i am still in Thailand?
Should PEP be a standard safe procedure after unprotected sex or is there risks associated with PEP treatment if you do not have contracted HIV?
The ARS symptoms are present on 70% of the cases i can read? do they all occur during the incubation or it could be only be some of the symptoms?
Thanks

Thanks Cna fir the prompt reply. So I went to an hospital and got a first test for HIV and cyphilis that were negative (I was sure about that since I got tested 6 month ago already) I tried to find the girl to get her tested as well but can't find her she wouldn't answer the phone, so the doc prescribed the PEP cocktail, I asked him about the sides effect and basically he didn't display any sign of worries, he did mentioned that I would feel dizzy because of the night antiviral but said it would vanish after 3 days or so.
So here I am in the following situation: I have like 8 hours until the 72h PEP window expires, I rode a few warning about the very rough side effects of the PEP cocktail, I still can't put my hands on the girl to get her tested, so I am going to start the treatment until I find her and get her tested (if I ever find the bloody woman)
the antiviral cocktail is made of after breaky& after dinner combid 300 caps [3tc 150 mg + azt 300 mg] and a "before sleeping" stocrin 600 mg cap(225) [efavirenz] which is the one I understand will knock me down the most.. So I guess I m staying off the booze fir a while hoping my leaver isn't going to suffer so much from it. Anyone has experience to share about PEP cocktail? Thanks

I'll try to answer some of ur questions but you should know that going on PEP only should be prescribed by an HIV specialist.usually PEP is prescribed for people who had unprotected sex with a confirmed HIV+ person since it has many side effects on body.so you should see a specialist or post ur question on expert forum as soon as possible because PEP is not effective more then 72 hours post exposure.
ARS symptoms happen 10-20 days (2 to 4 weeks)after possible exposure and will last for 1-2weeks .all infected persons will not experience them but about 70-80% will do.symptoms of ARS are flue like, fever is almost always present during ars.you can google them easily.
quantity of symptoms are variable from person to person.a person can have only one symptom or all of possible symptoms together.they can be mild or very severe and are quiet non-specific.so nobody can judge his status by symptoms,
as I mentioned above ask your question about having PEP from an specialist as soon as possible.sooner is better for PEP.PEP will not be effective later than 72 hours post exposure.
