Bad feelings

I have been tol for a numerous times that my exposure was NO RISK because I have only unprotected oral sex both ways with CSW. I took 3 test, all were DUO-searching for antigen and antibodies

21 days-negative
28 days-negative
35 days-negative

I went to a psychologist with my fears and doubts. I told him my story and do you know what he say to me?
He say that I should get tested 3 months after my oral exposure coz in his opinion HIV is transmitted by oral sex and only conclusive result is 3 moths result. I was searching for a piece of mind and I have found exactly what I am afraid of, another doubts. Docs on forum argue that DUO is conclusive at 28 days and even more conclusive at day 35. I don´t want take another test. I am pretty much exhausted from this situation. In my coutry there are ultraconservative doctors. I don´t know what to do, this is too much...sorry for botherin you again

I have no need to answer a question doc HHH or Sean Cummings because I exactly know what they will say. They will say that my exposure was very /vanishingly/ low risk but not risk free. You moderators say NO RISK at all.

Low risk---NO RISK...whos right? Doctors or moderators?

Doctors say that DUO test in my time frame are conclusive and final and moderators will say that only 3 months result is conclusive...whos right? Doctors or moderators?

when you give someone a warning that you claim that you are giving advice based on the knowledge of doctors from medhelp.

excuse me but what you're saying and what the doctors say it is not the same.

Ambivalence of opinions and advices, thats what creates my doubts.

Yes, these are citations which I mentioned above. These are only 5 you have.

interesting is that you agree with the CDC on the issue of testing, arguing that only the  three months test is final, but you disagree with the CDC on issues about oral sex and its risks. Another ambivalence

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Please educate yourself about the real risks. If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. " DR HANSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..." DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

"The observation on thousand and thousand of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort)." DR HOOK

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors.

The last sentence is what I am talking about. Medhelp doctors never say NO risk (for example in connection with cunnilingus). They say low risk.  There are few citations from thousands where is used term NO RISK by Medhelp docs. These are used as arguments by you, TEAK. But those are completely taken out of context and I can show you hundreds of posts where are used term "low risk from oral sex" by doctors. You know I am right Teak.

* After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
* Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
* Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.
