Blood Donation - HIV status?

Hi I donated blood yesterday 9/24 at 1:30 PM.

I got an email today, 9/25 at 7:30 AM thanking me for my donation.

Does this mean my blood has already been tested for HIV and other infectious diseases? If I tested positive, would they send this email anyways?

this is the email:

Why is it so hard for you to understand this? We are not the organization you gave blood to. We don't know what policy they follow, we don't know when they do anything. CALL THEM.

I know that

but it says:

"Thank you very much for your blood donation on September 24, 2012. We recognize that your time is precious and we hope that you will return to donate again when you are eligible."

it says we hope you donate again when your eligible.

from this part, does it sound like my blood has been tested already? it says thank you for donating. if it was tested positive, wouldn't they discard this donated blood?

It means if you have questions about an e-mail someone sent, then call and ask them. How are we supposed to know what an organization does?

Yes, I understand that.

I am just asking for some advice on this email?

what do you think it means?

Does this mean my blood has been used for donation purposes? Has it already been tested for HIV?

or is a thank you letter standard to everyone who donates, even if they found to be positive?

Don't use blood donation as a means of testing. If you want to know your stats then go test. If you have questions about your donation then call and ask them.
