Boyfriend cheated two years ago.

About two years ago  I found out my partner was cheating. It was with an 18 year old girl. He had unprotected sex with her several times.  After a few months she found out she was pregnant ( not his ) and according to  my partner she never said anything about having any diseases or anything. She was also in a long term committed relationship at the time of the cheating.

I have been feeling ill on and off. At first, it started with a sore throat on the 3rd of june. That cleared up after a few pills of antibiotics.  I went to puerto rico and I was fine but I kept feeling like I was getting sick on and off. Just a very vague feeling I was about to get sick. Then yesterday my sore throat came back and I got a slight headache and running nose. I still feel it but it's a bit better. I was around kids that had bugs during my stay in PR. My son is currently sick with some kind of cold or the flu. He had bad chest and nose congestion and a bad cough with a fever...

Also the palms of my hands have been itchy and peeling for a couple weeks now. There were also tiny blisters on them... I do have athletes foot and I do rub my feet quite a lot. Is it possible that I have spread it to my hands???

Does this sound like HIV? What are the chances that I have been infected with hit?

People with HIV are not predisposition to catching colds, that's notbanhiv symptom.
Sounds like you and your son have a nasty bug but not HIV.
As for the rash the hiv rash is papular and is dark in color and usually affects the back and chest areas.
I do know that syphillis can cause palm rash and blisters in its tertiary phase. But I don't think they peel they just stay beneath the skin.
I'm HIV and never get sick with colds or coughs.
I agree with teak, you can worry yourself sick over something that is very unlikely to happen so get tested and then you can move forward and be happy x

The only way to know your status is by testing. Symptoms or lack of will not tell you anything about your HIV status.
