CAN I CONTRACTED AN HIV OR STD WITH JUST ONE TIME INTERCOURSE

Hello, I am concerned now in what I feel. Last Oct.19,2015, I meet an American guy and we had an intimate moment. We had an unprotected sex. I don't know his status if he is HIV/STD negative or positive. Before we engaged into sex, I told him to wear condom but he was hesitant. We only did sex once. At first, I was worried that I might get pregnant because we had sex a 9 days before my expected period but into my surprise, it came to early on Oct.22 and ended Oct 27. During those days, there was one time that I woke up from sleep because I was shivering and I don't know why... then nights came that I have night sweats and I was not feeling well. It is already past 3 weeks since that encounter with him, but I feel a burning sensation, itchiness, pain in my genital inside. I went to an OBGYNE but she told me to wait for the papsmear result and she gave me medicine FUNZELA to take only once. I also had urinalysis and it came out negative of bacteria. I had CBC too and my white blood cell count is 11,500. Now here's my questions:

1. Could I possibly get an HIV with that one time encounter?
2. Yes, I am not feeling well. I always feel warm but my temperature doesn't exceed 37.5 Celsius. Could this be a symptom of HIV?
3. Even if I took Funzela, why do I still feel itch, pain, and burning down there? What could this be?
4. Can you give symptoms for HIV during sero-conversion please.
5. Can a CBC tell that I have infections?

If you are going to take a 4th generation test then you have to take this test at 29 days post exposure for an accurate result.
A simple test will give you an accurate result at 3 months post exposure.
As far as the symptoms are concerned they are not an indicator. The only way to know your status is by testing therefore you have to stay calm until your test results.

Hello,
Unprotected sex poses a risk for HIV transmission low risk but still exists for a single encounter. You can take a 4th generation test at 4 weeks post exposure or a simple test at 3 weeks post exposure in order to be aware of your status. Until your results stay calm.
Take care

Thanks Ms. BeStrong. I am so paranoid now about the symptoms I am having. I am planning to go for an HIV test probably this Sunday but I don't know if it can detect the virus.
