Can I get HIV from dealing with blood in a fight gettign on me

There was a verbal spat going on in my colony and suddenly one of my friend who drunk used some wooden thing to beat a person though the person ran away but I have to take my friend forcefully to home. But during that he was very aggressive and using his full force. I though didn't get hurt in that process but got my cut on my finger top and a a bit of nail skin got removed. Though the cut didn't bleed but the skin which was removed from the nail bleed very lightly. And my friend also got a cut in his thumb nail. Which he got the day before brawl. I just want to know can I get hiv from these situations. If my friend blood touched my finger which got hurt. And I also used my hand to keep his mouth shut because he was using very bad languages. And nothing else I need.

Agree. This situation while unfortunate isn't a risk for HIV.  Air inactivates the virus.  So, blood on someone after a fight would not transmit the virus even if you had a cut and they touched it.  Air is there, HIV is not. And holding his mouth also doesn't post a risk.  As Mike says, the only risks are unprotected vaginal or anal penetrating intercourse or sharing IV drug needles.  Transmission takes place inside the body.  Was your friend intoxicated?

No, you weren't at risk from any thing you have described here.

Below are the only risks in adults:

1. Unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse

2. Sharing needles intravenously with people who inject drugs.

Testing isn't recommended.
