DIAREHEA AND WORRY.

I had anal and vaginal sex early July with a suspect. I am terrified of Hiv BECAUSE I was positive for chlymadia and false positive for herpes. I haven't had any outbreaks or anything. CAN someone else this false positive thing to me? I tested negative for HIV mid July and I bought a Home Access test in dec. and it was negative. I go back next week and am terrified because Im experiencing this weird diarrhea now.?? Help!

The western Blot is a confirmatory test when a person receives a positive test result. It will then confirm if it is a true positive or if it was a false positive. As far as herpes in concerned, well you need to ask your doctor about that or post here in the STD forum at medhelp. All the best.

If the Home Access kit was negative then you don't have Hiv.False positives do occur from time to time, for example a pregnant woman my receive a false positive but you need not worry because they are always confirmed by a western blot test.
