can you get hiv from kissing? i kissed someone and i'm very afraid that i have hiv im only 16. it was french kissing but everyone says that if they have sores in their mouth then you can get it. i really need answers. and then they said you develop cold like symptoms. and i have has those symptoms but they went away. please i need medical answers from a PROFESSIONAL.
Hiv cannot pass with saliva..the person has to have a blood in their mouth and you must have an open sore..Even in Oral sex this is very low risk..in kissing you can count it as a near non-existant risk
I Dont Have An Open Sore. And I Don't Know If He Does. And I had Flu Like Symptoms But They Went Away
In 30 years of HIV/AIDS no one has contracted the Hiv virus from kissing under any circumstance.You won't make history and become the first.You're safe.
Not at all,that's just the common flu.Saliva contains many different proteins and enzymes that render the Hiv virus inactive and therefore unable to infect you.Also,saliva itself is not infectious.

Relax you are pure NEGATİVE:) I just wanted to explain the situation that hiv passes through blood, sexual fluids, needles etc...But remember in your future relations that even if you have a protected sex try not to have it with a guy that had too many relations because hiv is not the only sexually transmitted illness..there is hpv caused warts which can lead to cancer in females etc.. so always be careful:)
