Can this be HIV?

Hello, I made the mistake of having unprotected anal sex with a friend, I was the receiving partner,  he said he was negative. 2 weeks later I started to feel a little unwell, but I went out and it was raining and I got wet and I couldn't change for a few hours, next morning I had a severe exudative tonsilitis and 101 °F, but no other symptom I applied iodine and the tonsilitis and fever were cured in 2 or three days but a little irritation remained on the throat but I didn't continue to apply iodine. More than a month later the irritation has not gone, and it is somewhat inflamed on the inside, but not on the outside, is a chronic sore throat a common sign of HIV? Thanks for your answer!

symptoms or lack thereof do not diagnose hiv.

test at the appropriate time...3 months post exposure.
