Can you get HIV with a condom?

If you cannot get HIV through a condom can you please what this article below is about??

http://www.williamgairdner.com/condoms-and-hiv/

I've come across this and I am worried sick. I wore a condom with a street walking prostitute but it was a condom designed for my pleasure which meant it was one of the THINNEST condoms available which makes me even more worried. I went to a GUM clinic in the UK and one of the nurses/doctor advised that even though I wore a condom I should still get tested for HIV. Can you please confirm what is true?

Now my head is confused as to whether I need testing or not, should I?

No. Latex condoms work. Doesn't matter the thickness of them.

Thanks Vance.

In light of my circumstances with a sex worker and that I used a thin condom. Do you suggest testing for this? no?

That is not an article, it's a blog from some guy...come on.
Condoms when used correctly stop the spread of STD's and HIV.
Go into the Dr's forum and read their responces to sex with a condom.
