Chance of getting HIV from positive Syphilis

I am MSM, I and my boyfriend tested for hiv and syphilis lastweek. Surprisingly, his syphilis was positive. His HIV was negative at week 7th by rapid test.
My question is is there any possibllity his HIV test will turn into positive at week 12th?
Secondly, will gay men also get infected by HIV if he is imfected by syphilis? Can someone only contact syphilis but not HIV?
Is rapid hiv test at week 7 a good indicator?

A duo is conclusive at 28 days, and any other after 12 weeks, and there are no exceptions so his early test can't prove anything. You can't use statistics to guess if a person has HIV.
Did he or you do unprotected anal or oral?

Yes, he was engaged in unprotected anal sex 7 weeks before he got tested.
I heard that any hiv test can deteact 95% hiv infections by 6 weeks. Is that true?
And does someone who get syphilis will always get HIV?
read again above for when the tests are conclusive. And no, they are two different things, HIV and syphilis, having one does not mean you have,  or ever will have the other.
4th generation hiv test after 4 weeks .if it is a 3rd generation test it takes 12 weeks
..having syphilis increase chances of catching hiv if he is exposed.but if he is not exposed chances remain zero anyways.
Dont rely on his tests.as your exposure was more than7 weeks back you get tested for 4th generation duo for your conclusive status.and tpha test for syphilis.
