HIV from cunnalingues

All,

I recently preformmed cunnalingus on a female at a party for about 20 seconds. We did not have sex. I wanted to know the risk rates of contracting HIV. I thought there was no chance, but I saw that the CDC says it is possible. However, I've seen conflicting doctor reports saying it isn't and that the CDC is only caching thier bets. Can you help me here? Should I be tested for HIV? How long will I need to wait? I had a HIV test 3 days after it happened but I'm wondering if it will take longer for the results to be definitive.

Thanks!

You never had an exposure and didn't need testing.

I'm sorry ot ask you this question, but I had a blood test 4 days after this happened and came back HIV-negative. Is there something else I could do to confirm those tests? Could I do a quick oral test as I've seen on this site?

I really appreciate your recomendations.

We cannot vouch for other website missinformation. At no time were you ever at risk of contracting HIV from oral sex.

Hi there, one follow up to my earlier question. If there is no risk, why do I see boards that say there is? It's really confusing to us all. :) I've read Dr. Garcia's post on the subject and it seems pretty definitive - just wondering about the misinformation out there.

Thank you!
