Condoms & HIV

Guys I've been searching the internet & around 80% of the info is contradictory about condom effectiveness.

On some pay per question forums, MDs inform askers that they're at risk after condom protected sexual exposures.

Furthermore, some state that 1 protected exposure is no risk, however, multiple protected exposures = risk.

What in the world is the true information, & just as a minor question why can't 2 different forums agree on condoms' effectiveness (Shouldn't it be quite simple if the facts were straight) ?

even though you are using condom, it sometimes broke and exposed you. that's when you put yourself at risk.

hope this will certainly give you the desired answer. so always use condom correctly and consistently.

Thank you for the reply. I totally get the idea & I agree that condoms protect from HIV.

But I was asking what's with the different info. out there.

Shouldn't there be scientific evidence behind what such websites are pointing out ?
