In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
Post the link where someone had a rapid test at 3 months and then tested positive. Because your not going to find anyone who has tested positive after they have a 3 month test.
Also the Dr's have stated that they have not seen anyone on this site test positive.
iv read in the Dr forum that people have had rapid tests and they were negative. .. but then went in and had a test that looks at the virus itself and found they were indeed positive...not sure of that name..is that test necessary to be 100%?
doesnt matter the generation...3 months is conclusive and further testing is not needed.
