Samson,

What were you up to ?

You had protected sex, you are safe and you tested with every possible HIV test - ELISA, PCR & W.B ???

That wasn't just necessary, you were good to go with out any testing, you don't need any testing.

Symptoms: All your symptoms are related to anxiety, stop thinking about HIV every sec, every minute and you'd be fine.

Read about HIV transmission and please move on.

Hey Samson,

I was wondering you deided to spend money on her testing.I am sure DNA-PCR must have cost you pretty dearly.

First, protected sex means exactly that, protected. SO, you did not have a risk to begin with and you did not need testing as well. Her HIV status would have certainly showed up on the DNA PCR test. FYI, it is a very sensitive test that looks for the virus. given her ELISA and Western blot were negative, you can safely assume she was HIV negative (and you did not have risk in the first place).

There are no symptoms specific to HIV infection. Your symptoms of white tongue and fever may be because of thousands of other things.

rest easy, you are negative (no risk due to condom protection)
