Damn it!

Hello all, 40 yr old male here. Had unprotected sex with a Japanese (as if this really matters) girl about a year ago...no symptoms,in fact never felt better, although i know symptoms(or lack of) mean nothing. Finally got enough nerve to have an HIV test performed at the local clinic...This was on Oct 29. Today is Nov 6th , over a week has passed. Does it actually take 2 weeks for the results to be in? If they had found a positive result would they have called me by now? Just curious///
thanks for any insight,,,,

NEGATIVE!

Thanks for all your help! It was a LONG 2 weeks. For all you worried souls out there, waiting for test results can be nerve wracking. My advise: KEEP BUSY!!! , buy a new video game, go to the gym, take long walks, post new pics on your myspace, facebook etc...BUT DO NOT surf the net for HIV symptoms or anything like that!
Peace

It can take from a matter of minutes to a couple of weeks to get your test results. Depends on the lab and the type of test you took.
