Did I give my boyfriend HIV?

I had a canker sore on my gums that bled at the time (only when I really poked at it, but I always dabbed it with a cotton ball so the bleeding would stop) and I mainted good oral hygiene in the time being. But last week on Thursday (the 2nd) my boyfriend came over and we kissed quite a lot. Its not til after he left that I remembered about my canker sore. Then he developed two canker sores inside his mouth this past Tuesday and then this Friday he developed a sore throat accompanied by a strong headache. He took ampicillin for his throat which quickly relieved his throat, he took medication for his canker sores, but the headache lasted for a total of 3 days. I'm just really worried that maybe a small amount of blood might have done this. He has a strong immune system, had no  sores/cuts the day of kissing.  If it is HIV can symptoms develop in a week??? Or are these symptoms just being mistaken for something else??

Kissing is never a risk.

Also, symptoms of lack thereof mean nothing when it comes to HIV. Many people never have any symptoms. The only way to know your status is to test.

If you don't think you have HIV, how could you transmit it?

I don't think I have HIV because I've never experienced weird symptoms and him and I have always been careful, protected, etc.

I read online that you're only at risk when kissing if the saliva is contaminated with blood. Is that true? In this case could that have happened? I'm skeptical because I know the symptoms show up in two weeks not after a couple of days you know. I put his symptoms in web MD and got a common cold...could that it be it??

Do you have HIV?

Even if you did, kissing is zero risk.
