Did I mess my test up?

I recently had a broken condom during insertive anal sex. I have no clue how long I was exposed for.  This was about three months ago. It happened about 13/14 weeks ago. I took an Oraquick HIV test at home. I read the directiong wrong. It said don't drink anything for 30 minutes. Thought it said don't use oral products for 30 minutes. I took a chug of some flavored water about five minutes before taking the test. Results were negative. But I'm worried  that drinking right before it could have affected the results. Can I get some input on this?
Thanks for the service.

Doubt my horchata drink had food particles. Horchata powder is the only thing it  could have had. Okay, thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

This test is not for you if you're HIV positive. What does that mean? Does this test not catch old infections? Let's say you're positive for ten years. Does it mean you'll test negative?
Just confused about this. It has it on the insert kit and we site video.

Read people with advanced AIDS don't produce antibodies anymore. What test  does someone with advance AIDS needs to take? Just trying to gather general info about all this.

If you are doubting the test i suggest you take a blood test Elisa or a simple rapid test. I bet you will be negative and that result is conclusive.

I did not read wrong. The doctor in this site has also mentioned it. I read his comments on this on two.separate threads. Can you guys tell me what test I can take that doesn't test for antibodies but the HIV itself. Like what test will someone showing advanced AIDS symptoms but keeps testing negative for antibodies. Serereversion in advance AIDS patients is documented. I been having diarrhea, and losing weight, and having many bacterial infections. I had a legit risk with someone HIV positive. Broken condom and even had a brief flu like illness right after.  In my mind I had HIV. Did nothing about it for three years.  Finally been suffering from these symptoms and decided to get help. But I tested negative twice for antibodies.  I'm not sure what test I need. Something that diesnt test for antibodies obvisously.

They don't tests for AIDS, they test for HIV which causes AIDS. If you tested 3 months post any unprotected anal or vaginal sex or sharing works with other IV drug user and your results were negative then you don't have an HIV concern, you have a mental health concern.

Once a person confirmed positive, they will always be positive, and always test positive.  Your test was conclusive, you don't have an HIV concern, so there is no need to continue reading, testing, or thinking about HIV.

If you cannot accept your test results, I would recommend seeking some professional help, as anxiety can get the best of you quickly.

Test said it is only 93% accurate in detecting HIV positive people. Why is it sold if its only 93% accurate?
