Different types of 4th generation tests?

Hello.

I will probably get banned for this because I guess me asking questions regarding HIV is just a terrible thing, and I am not looking for results as I did last time such as "4 weeks conclusive??????"

I have a legit question that I have been honestly confused about, and I have not asked it before.

Are there different types of 4th gen tests out there?

LabCorp test showed I took a HIV Screening 4th generation wrfx test. Is this the same thing as a DUO, COMBI, or ABOTT 4th gen test?

I just see a lot of different ways of saying it, more DUO than anything, but I do not see 4th generation wrfx anywhere. Was my 4th gen test the same as a DUO?

thanks, and hopefully i don't get banned and castrated for this.

Don't get confused. Duo and Combi is one and the same thing. The test capable of detecting both, p-24 Antigen and Antibodies. Abbott is one of the manufacturer of these tests.

Now a days, 4th generation test is a standard screening test almost worldwide. Due to its better sensitivity and reliability, it can detect the infection much earlier then its predecessor

So the 4th generation wrfx test I took is the same thing, right?
Yes. As you have been advised, you took the correct test at the correct time, and there is no need to continue testing for this exposure.
