I have protected intercourse with an unknown status individual 12 weeks ago (85 days).
8th week : I woke up and vomited at night, the next day I had diarrhea and low grade fever with extreme muscle ache. I assume that this is close to a flu-like symptoms or food poisoning. I took medication and was back to normal the next day.
Around two weeks later, I developed a red itchy rash all over my back, it spread to my arms and my face. I took Antihistamine and it cleared up the next day. I wanted to know if this rash has the characteristics of HIV rash, It's red, raised on my arms, and itchy. (I never had experience these rash ever in my life)
12 weeks, I've been treated with amoxicillin due to inflamed tonsils and now I had a course of diarrhea which lasted a week long.
I never had a swollen lymph nodes.
1. I've been having diarrhea ever since my encounter, on and off with no other symptoms. Is this due to HIV?
2. ARS symptoms always starts at week 2-4 and will take 1-2 weeks to clear up, What if I had on and off symptoms and things just doesn't fit in, for example. weeks 2-4 I have diarrhea, muscle ache but no other symptoms. Can this be due to ARS? Or I've never experience ARS ever.
3. Do symptoms come and go? Or they come in a package (fever, sore throat, diarrhea, rash etc.)
4. Are Hives caused by HIV? Hepatitis? Or other STDs
5. Do I need testing regards of the symptoms? It was an protected intercourse.
6. Does HIV or any other STDs produce Symptoms after 5 weeks? I've been having on and off symptoms ever since.
Most of them showed up on weeks 8-11.
Thank you,
