White dry tongue

For last one year or more, I have been experiencing this white dry tongue.

Whiteness is at the back of the tongue like in White coating in this picture
http://healthfoxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/White-Coated-Tongue.jpg

However the coating is more prominent towards the back of the tongue. It is not very thick, but it smears evening over back of my tongue. I scrape it every morning and it is back, without fail, by evening, everyday for last 1 year. That is what is worrying me.

No real burning or sore after I scrape it. There is no other white patch as such in my mouth. Top of my mouth has Yellow stain covering half of my mouth ceiling. Mouth keeps very dry..even feels like i have put some LA sometimes. Sometimes mouth also gives powdery feel.

I showed it to doctor and doctor said it is not thrush. He said it might be because of GERD + Nasal Dip.

But because it has been happening EVERYDAY without fail, I was wondering if it was GERD.

Recently, I have started having some tingling on front of my tongue, where is no real coating on my front tongue and I dont even brush it there so much.

Yesterday only, i found small, infact tiny, bumps cluster on my inner cheeks just adjacent to my gums.

Pls. suggest what this can be.

I had an risky exposure 2 Year back, but got tested 3/6/12 month. All came negative. However, during first few month I had this one swollen lymph node under my right arm pit, which remained there for almost 9 months after the exposure.

After 1.5 yrs from exposure, I suddenly lost lot of weight almost 10%. Used to feel nauseated during that time. White tongue was more prominent then. Situation has improved. I have gained back 5% weight and there is no nausea as such now.
