My freinds mother went throw a very hard emotional period and in that period she got both Shingles and TB becuase when you are understress your ammune system gets compressed and you can get OI's easely. She never had HIv or even came close to it. these things happen.
stop it!
you did not get hiv from the experience you described...PERIOD! enough is enough.
if you cant accept the FACTS...then MAN UP and go take yourself a test...it's been 4 years since this happened...geez.
So u say you're right and doctor is wrong ha :)?
U always write this but doctor says different? which is true?
HIV is not alive to begin with. It's active or inactive. No HIV cannot stay active at room temperatures.
Results from laboratory studies should not be used to assess specific personal risk of infection because (1) the amount of virus studied is not found in human specimens or elsewhere in nature, and (2) no one has been identified as infected with HIV due to contact with an environmental surface. Additionally, HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

You only explained me that shingles is not a sign of aids. But in everywhere writes shingles happens because of dicrease of immune system and can be because of Aids and Cancer.
So can it be an explanation to my subject? It's same u said me ; hiv doesn't survive outside body but Doctor HHH says it can live in room conditions for several some hours. Can you understand me?
How many times are you going to post? The answers are not going to change. You flooded me with PMs and it was all explained to you. Shingles is not a symptom of AIDS or those that have HIV. End of subject.
I thought AIDS, when I had shingles.I read that shingles can be the first symptom of AIDS.
In advanced AIDS how does shingles live? Hard ? all body? or can it be in only 2-3 areas and small? I had 3 shingles and 1 cm diameter not so big.
A lot of HIV infected never experience symptoms. The vast majority of people that get shingles don't have HIV. Typically stress can bring on shingles. So, I wouldn't worry yourself
